New Year's Progress Update
Hello! It's been a while since my last update here - I'd be lying if I said progress haven't been somewhat slow-going since the last update, due to other aspects of life being rather busy and hectic. That said, I've been working on it whenever possible, and I'm still determined to get Part 1 done as soon as I can - though I still can't promise any amount of time in specific just yet.
It'll be a full year since the initial release of the prologue before too long. It's still hard to believe that this passion project of mine is out in the world, and work on it has become such a fact and staple of my life, even if it has been difficult to find the time and energy for it at times.
I've been busy enough that I've fallen out of practice of keeping updates both here and on my personal Twitter (explicit content warning) though I'm going to try to keep up with that more. That said, I can't guarantee anything on that front - but rest assured even if I'm not able to update much, working on this project of mine is still always on my mind.
I suppose I should give some actual numbers to track my progress. I'm at around 4700 lines of script, now - a whole thousand lines more from the last progress update, and in terms of writing I think I'm more than halfway done with Part 1. Drawing art and the like has been slow, though - with only around 120 images total, only about 20 since last update. However, I'm working on improving my workflow to be able to more efficiently get drawings done for this project.
I'm not totally sure if I should provide more preview content of Part 1, considering I'm not sure when I'll have it completed. That said, if anyone following this project would be interested in further previews of some kind - concept art, previews of new characters, stuff like that - I'd love to hear, either here or at my Twitter (link above).
Anyway, that's all I have for now - as always, I hope everyone who has played the prologue has enjoyed it, and I hope everyone looking forward to Part 1 are both excited and patient for the eventual release!
